CoFounderBot uses a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model — you provide your OpenRouter API key and pay only for the AI tokens you use. Our plans add platform features on top.

BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
You provide your own OpenRouter API key. Benefits:
- No markup — You pay OpenRouter directly at their rates
- Model choice — Use any model available on OpenRouter
- Full control — Set spending limits on your OpenRouter dashboard

- Starter/Pro: Soft limit with warnings — you'll see usage alerts before hitting caps
- Tool calls: Per-call billing with monthly caps based on plan
