What is CoFounderBot?
CoFounderBot is an AI-powered platform with 7 specialized agents that work together to build your product. Think of it as having an entire startup team that can plan, code, test, and deploy — autonomously.
Is my code private?
Yes. Your code never leaves your session unless you explicitly export it or enable GitHub auto-commit. We don't train on your data.
What AI models are supported?
Any model available on OpenRouter, including:
- Claude (Anthropic) — Sonnet 4, Haiku 3.5
- GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini (OpenAI)
- Gemini 2.5 Pro, Gemini Flash (Google)
- Llama 3.3 70B (Meta)
- Mistral Large, Mistral Small (Mistral)
- DeepSeek V3
How much does it cost?
The platform has Free, Starter ($19/mo), Pro ($79/mo), and Ultra ($149/mo) tiers. AI model costs are separate — you pay OpenRouter directly via your own API key (BYOK model). Typical cost: $0.01-0.50 per mission.
Agents
Can I customize agent prompts?
Yes. Go to Dashboard → Agents and click on any agent to modify their name, title, model, and system prompt.
Do agents learn from my feedback?
Yes. Rating outputs 👍/👎 triggers the self-improvement system. Negative ratings generate correction rules that are automatically injected into future prompts.
Can I add custom agents?
Custom agents are available on the Pro and Ultra plans. You can define new roles with custom prompts, tools, and model assignments. Starter includes 2 custom agent slots, Pro includes 10, and Ultra includes 20 custom agent slots.
Tools
What tools can agents use?
Web search (Tavily), web browsing (Firecrawl), image analysis, video analysis, Twitter search/post, and Reddit search. See Advanced Tools for details.
Do I need to provide my own API keys for tools?
Yes. Go to Settings → Tool API Keys to add your Tavily, Firecrawl, and Twitter keys. Each service has a free tier.
Are tool calls safe?
Yes. CoFounderBot applies PII redaction (strips emails, phone numbers, API keys from outputs) and SSRF prevention (blocks requests to internal networks).
Billing
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
Free plan has hard limits. Starter and Pro plans show warnings as you approach limits. Tool calls have monthly caps.
Can I use free models to avoid costs?
Yes. Gemini Flash and Llama 3.3 are free on OpenRouter and work well for many tasks. Use them for testing, then switch to premium models for production quality.
How do I cancel?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing and click Manage Subscription. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period.
